Become a Change Maker: Volunteer for Judge TaTeasha Davis’s Campaign

Judge Ta’Teasha Davis’s campaign for re-election to the Pierce County Superior Court is driven by community members committed to justice, compassion, and accountability in the Pierce County justice system. Volunteering is a meaningful way to support a judge who values equal access to justice and respect in her courtroom – while getting to know our neighbors, civic leaders, and fellow advocates. Whether you can only donate a few hours or can provide longtime support and advocacy, your efforts will help ensure a bright future for Pierce County.
Why get involved for Judge Davis?
Judge Davis comes to the bench with an outstanding legal background, including experience in financial law, advocating for victims of domestic violence, and serving on the Indeterminate Sentence Review Board. She is committed to the delivery of justice in a compassionate, fair, and accessible manner, and has received endorsements not only from every judge currently on the Pierce County Superior Court bench, but is also rated “Exceptionally Well Qualified.”
When you volunteer, you ensure that our courts continue to be places where people are treated with dignity and respect. You will also learn more about the electoral process, meet others with a passion for our community, and help run a POSITIVE campaign for real change in Pierce County.
How you can get involved
There are many ways to help, no matter what your skill set or amount of free time. Every effort-large or small-brings us closer to victory. Here’s how you can make a difference:
- Doorbelling in your neighborhood. Talk to Tacoma and Pierce County residents about Judge Davis’s story, and listen to their concerns. Training and materials are provided.
- Phone and text banking. Call or text residents from your home or our campaign headquarters with information about the campaign and voting instructions.
- Event support. Help support campaign events, forums, and community events. Support can include organizing, set-up, greeting guests, or coordinating logistics.
- Help us reach voters through social media. Share posts, make posts, or help monitor our Facebook page at facebook.com/keepjudgedavis.
- Data entry and office support. Alleviate the behind-the-scenes burden of data entry, mailings, and general support for office tasks.
- Be part of our voter outreach team. Engage members of underrepresented communities and ensure everyone has a voice in who we elect.
- Legal or policy research. If you’re a lawyer, add your legal expertise by answering voter questions or advising on campaign materials.
No experience is required-simply a willingness to help out.
Commitment for Volunteers: Flexible, Short-Term and Impactful
Renata for Justice needs volunteers who can give one hour, one day, or one weekend to help her get re-elected as a judge in the Third Circuit Court of Michigan. An all-volunteer grassroots campaign, we value every volunteer’s time and energy. Whether you make time out for a single event, or would like to join us for the next few months, we have activities to fit your schedule that include weekdays, evenings, and weekend shifts. In-person (in accordance with every public health standard) and remote engagements are also available.
You will receive training, support, and the satisfaction of knowing you helped keep an honorable judge on the bench who believes in dignity, fairness, and justice for all. Many volunteers have gained leadership skills, new friendships, and knowledge about our justice system.
